Our Office
Our office is equipped with the CCC Pathways system, an electronic estimating platform that connects us directly to most major insurance carriers, allowing us to process claims more efficiently. We also have Mitchell ABS. This electronic management system provides scheduling, parts ordering, and management reporting more efficient, accurate and productive, getting you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Metal Shop
Our shop is equipped with the some of the industry’s latest and best technology.
The Blackhawk Frame Bench is a 21' Bench that allows us to handle everything from small car to large dual wheeled trucks and provides us with the capability to restore factory dimensions to vehicle.
The Shark Electronic Measuring System is a very effective piece of equipment. Through the use of sonar, the computer utilizes the factory dimensions of the vehicle and measures the vehicle, comparing the original dimensions to those taken from the vehicle. As the structural pulls are performed, The Shark continually monitors the progress to let the technician know when the vehicle is back to factory specifications.
Hidden damage originally undetected, can cause delays in repair. The Twin Post Lift allows the shop to get a better look at any possible hidden damage, thereby speeding up the repair process, instead of delaying it due to reordering parts, because we are not finding the additional damage.
Paint Shop
We have two Downdraft Paint Booths. This is a panting environment that allows for clean, debris free, paint work and the lighting inside the booth utilizes daylight corrected bulbs so the painter can match the colors correctly, getting your car painted to perfection.
Our computerized paint mixing and electronic scales allows the painter to take the color code from the vehicle and mix the color correctly, eliminating wasted time and materials trying to guess on the color.
When a color code is not available, or a factory color has faded over the years, The Photospectrometer comes in very handy. This "color camera" is used to take a snapshot of the current paint, download it to a color library and match it to one of over 1 million formulas available.
WE CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT!
The first step we take to be environmentally conscious is to use HVLP paint technology (high volume low pressure), which allows us to transfer over 80% of the paint material to the vehicle, rather than it becoming airborne and escaping into the atmosphere. This allows better color coverage and less environmental impact.
We also utilize a paint recycler, called the Paint Waste Recycler, which distills the liquid paint waste and gives us a clean, usable solvent to clean our equipment with. The remaining waste that’s left is in a solid form, packaged in drums and picked up by Onyx, a hazardous waste company that treats the chemicals and properly disposes of any bi-products.
We work very hard to be environmentally conscious of any waste that we generate, from oils and antifreeze, to paint waste, to Freon. We have the equipment necessary to properly reclaim these materials without harm to the environment. |
